Post-Baby Rehab is designed specifically for pregnant and postpartum moms.  This restorative program is carefully put together to help to build full body strength, retrain your core and pelvic floor. This self-paced training method uses low impact movements while incorporating diaphragmatic breathing as well as teaching you how to engage your deep core muscles for optimal results.

Your body is beautiful, intricate and incredibly capable (we make babies after all!) However, many live with troublesome issues resulting from pregnancies, delivery, surgery etc. without safe or appropriate solutions to the problems. Too often surgery is the only solution offered to women who are suffering every day from some kind of core dysfunction. Some symptoms of a weak and/or dysfunctional core and pelvic floor:

 

  • Urinary Incontinence (stress & frequency/urgency)
  • Constipation
  • Pain or discomfort during intercourse
  • Back pain and/or Pelvic Girdle Pain
  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse
  • Diastasis Recti

 

Post-Baby Rehab is the only class of it's kind and assists in the rehabilitation of your core and pelvic floor while building strength effectively post-pregnancy. This class also prepares you for labour, birth and postpartum recovery during pregnancy.

A one-on-one experience in a group setting

12, group training sessions, 2x weekly for 6-weeks

 

Post-Baby Rehab is for all moms of all stages.  This is ideal for any type of birth from C-Section, uncomplicated vaginal, forceps, and  V-Back.    

 

This, self-paced program will assist in your recovery safely and effectively in an encouraging and supportive environment and yes, your baby or toddler are always welcome!

 

You will be shown proper breathing, alignment, and movement patterns that will address any lingering issues like Diastasis Recti, pelvic floor dysfunctions, and other common postpartum aches & pains while building strength and confidence.  The best part, you get to do all of this within an encouraging, supportive, and motivating environment within a sisterhood.

Ideal for pregnancy, breastfeeding, and bottle feeding moms.

I refer all moms to a pelvic floor physiotherapist.  This program complements most PFT treatment plans.

Imagine, working out side by side with moms just like you who want the very best in group fitness.  This is a personal training experience in a small group setting where you can feel confident that you are going to maximize your results in a class that has a one-on-one feel.

Feel encouragement and support while you stay motivated by your sisterhood!

 

This group training class focuses on function, strength, form and proper technique using, barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell, TRX, and compound movements that target the entire body. Additionally, the importance of core and pelvic health is a significant part of this program, practicing proper core breathing techniques.

 

This program is cycled, self-paced and modified to meet the needs of each member. Finding Your Strength is ideal if you're beyond 1 year postpartum or you have completed of Post-Baby Rehab, Hybrid/Online Fitness Design or Personal Fitness design.  This is an intensive strength training program and it's essential that you are familiar with functional movement patterns.

Each class meets at the Mom's Fitness Boutique Studio Tuesday and Thursday's at 11am, beginning February 28th. Additional group session times to be announced soon.

I didn't think it was possible not to twist your body and not get hurt - but now I can do everyday movement without hurting myself. I have yet to carry both twins in a carrier for 45 mins (walk to and from school) but was able to go to theme parks in Orlando and wear one child without pain (up to 5 hours per day).
